Formula

For Age = 1: Human Age = 15 For Age = 2: Human Age = 24 For Age > 2: Human Age = 24 + (Age - 2) × Size Factor

The traditional "1 dog year = 7 human years" is a myth. The standard size-adjusted formula assigns 15 years for the first year, 9 years for the second, and then adds 4 (small), 5 (medium), 6 (large), or 7-8 (giant) years annually.

2

Set First Two Years

Year 1 is equal to 15 human years. Year 2 adds 9 years, totaling 24 human years.
